Our sterilization pouches give sterile processing teams one packaging format for a wide spread of instrument sizes. Each pouch has a self-sealing adhesive closure, so staff can close it without a heat sealer, and the built-in steam and chemical indicators change visibly after exposure to the sterilization process. Those indicators give your team a quick check at the point of use. They supplement your biological and chemical monitoring program and do not replace it.
We carry seven sizes: 2.25" x 2.75", 3.5" x 5.25", 3.5" x 9", 5.25" x 7.5", 5.25" x 10", 7.5" x 13", and 12" x 16". The smaller formats suit burs and single dental instruments, and the 7.5" x 13" and 12" x 16" pouches take longer instruments and small sets. Leaving room around the contents helps the sterilant reach every surface and keeps stress off the seal.
The pouches work with both steam and ethylene oxide (EtO). Facilities that run steam autoclaves alongside EtO sterilizers can stock a single pouch line for both, which keeps inventory simpler for departments that follow ANSI/AAMI ST79 practices for steam sterilization.
We keep pouches in stock at our Connecticut warehouse and can schedule recurring shipments through our Warehouse Program, so your department does not run short between orders. For treated waste after processing, see our autoclave bags in the Biohazard category.
